What We Believe

WE BELIEVE

WE BELIEVE that God and Jesus Christ are indeed one of the same and He manifested Himself in three different ways. (St John 14:9)

WE BELIEVE that every born again believer will experience the new birth according to their faith and (St. John 3:3)

WE BELIEVE the new birth consist of repentance, water baptism, the infilling of the Holy Spirit, and walking according to the Word of God. (St John 3:3)

WE BELIEVE the Holy Spirit is accompanied and evidenced by the speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance as on the day of Pentecost. (Acts 2:38)

WE BELIEVE all water baptisms are to be performed IN the name of Jesus Christ according to the Holy scriptures, (Acts 2:38, 10:44-49) We further believe in being fully emerged into the water when one is baptized.

WE BELIEVE that all born again believers should walk in the newness of life according to Romans 6:4. We are mandated to walk a “spirit” filled life that involves Righteousness and true Holiness according to Ephesians 4:23-24. We further believe that anyone that doesn’t practice a life that is disciplined, separated, and Holy, will NOT see Jesus Christ in peace according to Hebrews 12:14

WE BELIEVE that the Word of God is infallible and powerful. We believe, teach, preach, and follow the Apostolic doctrine. (2 Peter 1:19)

WE BELIEVE in the importance of praying, praising, and worshiping the Lord in all of our services. We desire that the Lord will have full reign in our worship services, according to Psalms 100.

WE BELIEVE in the rapture (catching away) of the local body according to (I Corinthians 15:51-52.) We further believe the rapture (or the catching away of the church) will come at a time when people are spiritually asleep. (Matthew 24:42-44)

Steps to Salvation

According to Acts 2:38, the steps to salvation are:

1. Repentance

2. Baptism in Jesus Name

3. Infilling of the Holy Ghost

Repentance is where you make the choice to change your heart and mind about the type of life you are currently living and seek a better life by accepting Jesus Christ as your personal savior. Without repentance, the act of Baptism is of the non-effect. The heart must be willing before the outward show of commitment is done.

Baptism in the water is an outward show of commitment to your heart’s decision to accept Christ as your Savior. The Bible says in Colossians 3:17. “And whatsoever ye do in the word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus giving thanks to God the Father by him.” The deed of baptism must be done in Jesus’ name which is the authority that allows your sin to be removed.

The Holy Ghost is the Spirit of God. The Holy Ghost is a gift from God to help you in so many ways during your Christian walk. If you have been filled with the Holy Ghost, it will be with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. If you have never receives the Holy Ghost, we have ministers available to pray with you.
